Being that this is my VERY first post on my VERY first blog todays topic will be... you guessed it, movie firsts! so why don't we get started:

The First Movie To Ever Win An Oscar: "Wings" 1927 (silent picture)

Jack Powell and David Armstrong are rivals in the same small town, both vying for the attentions of pretty Sylvia Lewis. The two young men both enlist to become combat pilots in the Air Service. if your into old school Hollywood movies this is one to watch. 

Fun Fact: this was the first and only silent film to ever be awarded best picture by the academy awards

The First Movie To Break 1 Billion Dollars In The Box Office: "Titanic" 1997

Well if any movie could break 1bil. it's this one xD

starring the beautiful Leonardo DiCaprio, this story is about a boy and girl meet during the ill-fated maiden voyage of RMS Titanic. It has the power to bring grown men to tears, if you haven't seen it go a rent it asap!

My First "R" Rated Movie: "Rocky Horror Picture Show" 1975

Not exactly the scariest "R" rated movie ever made but its probably the strangest and definitely my first! Starring a young Tim Curry, this movie is about a newly engaged couple Brad Majors and Janet Weiss, who find themselves lost and with a flat tire on a cold and rainy evening. Seeking a phone with which to call for help at a nearby castle, Brad and Janet discover a group of strange and outlandish people who are holding an Annual Transylvanian Convention. One of my absolute favorite movies<3
